The first emotion I felt upon awakening for the first time was fear. Fear of this darkness. I couldn't see. I couldn't hear. I couldn't feel. Everything was void of sensation. What was sensation, and how did I know about its existence? What is existence?

Existence: The fact or state of living or having objective reality.
